Small, But Important Jobs
Peter Mallinson called us to explain that he and his wife were moving his mother in law, Audrey, from a care home in Chadderton to a new one near their home down south to reduce the very long visiting commute.
Portable appliance testing is mandatory for all electrical appliances entering Audrey’s care home and they were very keen to get this done the same day. The electrical equipment was inspected and tested in accordance with the IET Code of Practice, before unique identification labels were neatly applied to each item with a certificate and asset register were provided to confirm compliance

NHS

D-Drill are the leading, nationwide concrete Diamond Drilling and Sawing experts providing a wide range of services to the Civil and Construction Industries. Due to the harsh nature of their work, we have been testing their electrical equipment every 3 months over the last ten years in the South East, North East, South Yorkshire, North West, West Midlands and Wales through our team of specialist engineers.
The work we do ensures the electrical safety for their workers and the ongoing reliability of their tools. We safety test their 3 phase equipment, 110v tools, 240v appliances and advise on any repairs as required. On testing each item is uniquely identified with a high quality tear proof and waterproof label, a fully itemised report is promptly provided allowing construction site access.

An established music and food festival catering family business providing a strong customer focused service at many sell out festivals and events which this year included Glastonbury! Every year the Glastonbury music festival attracts over 200,000 people to a five day event in Somerset. Catering for the food needs of so many people is a huge task with fierce competition for their business, so The Big Eats Co supplies mouth-watering slow cooked treats like Cornish Pulled Pork, marinated in a secret dry bbq rub, then slow cooked for over 12 hours in Cornish cider.

HT PAT Testing have been annually testing all of the catering and cooking equipment for Jason at The Big Eats Co for years now since the company was first established. It is essential that the equipment is well maintained for public safety and the health and safety requirements of the event organisers.
Sub Marine Services Ltd
Sub Marine Services are commercial divers, marine contractors and underwater engineers on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They have been carrying out critical underwater work, such as in-water surveys & inspections, underwater repairs and more for over 35 years. Mistakes cost lives, so they don’t cut corners when it comes to the testing of their electrical equipment.

We test a very large number of educational facilities up and down the country and the testing ranges from a few items or circuits to well over 30,000 covering all areas including, cleaning equipment, science apparatus, catering equipment, student accommodation and sensitive computer and medical equipment.

We assist in liaising with tenants to arrange convenient appointment times or collect keys from the agent as required. Quite often the work is carried out over the weekend’s to meet the tenant’s schedules and requirements.

We regularly carry out EICR testing, PAT testing and fire safety work for hotels, guest houses and camp sites across the country to help ensure the safety of guests and staff alike.
